    She received the Student Hall of Fame Award from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University where she earned a Masters in Taxation.

    Yesenia is a member of the Arizona Society of CPAs and in 2016 served as President of Dobson Ranch Toastmasters. She also serves on the ASU National Alumni Council and is a Board Member of the Girl Scouts AZ Cactus Pine Council. 
     Mrs. Simmons is a frequent contributor, volunteer, presenter and speaker at various organizations including Accounting & Financial Women's Alliance (AFWA), Better Business Bureau, Local TV News & Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. She has a passion to increase financial knowledge in the community, loves to read, exercise, travel, and and spending time with her wonderful husband and son.
